By now, most Architects and Interiors Designers in Ireland have made it their business to know Noel Whelan's work. Noel is a highly skilled furniture designer, whose great skill is in the use of natural materials such as 1,000 to 2,000 year old bog oak and highly figured timbers such as rare burr-elm. His high standard of craftsmanship has made him his name, as one of the most skilled furniture makers in Ireland, Most of Noels Pieces are so detailed that a lot of the work is done by hand, which gives each piece a unique quality. Forma Interiors has been well acquainted with his work for several years so when he sent us images of some of his new pieces, we thought we would share them with you.
